The winery go back generations of the Berlucchi family until the present owners being 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Fratelli Berlucchi became part of the Franciacorta DOC in 1967 and is still today highly appreciated as one of the leading producers of Franciacorta DOCG. This is underlined of the many prices their wines have won all over the world. The vineyards cover 70 hectares of the heart of Franciacorta and the wines are exclusively made from own grapes. Half of the total production of 800.000 bottles is that of DOCG and half Terre di Franciacorta DOC. Fratelli Berlucchi produce no less than 5 different Franciacorta DOCG and still today much of the work in the cellar is done manually to assure the high standards of Fratelli Berlucchi. A particular of the production halls is the presence of frescoes dating back to the 16th century.
