Since the Castello delle Regine was taken over by Paolo Nodari innovation and high quality have become the main factors in the production. Paolo Nodari, being a lawyer from Milan, has been helped by some of the most qualified experts. But in despite of the modern winery Castello delle Regine works with great respect of the environment and the traditions of the area.

Having altogether 400 hectares of land most of this is used for hunting. But an important part in the production is the breeding of the Chianina cattle, famous for it's high quality meat, and olives.
80 hectares are vines:10 ha of old plants of 40 years of age and another 70 ha of younger age.
Careful studies went before deciding which grapes to plant on which fields in order to accomplish the best possible results.
The respect for quality and the diversity of the wines is also seen in the fase of the vinification. This is being done in small steel tanks allowing for the separation of the wines and individual treatment.
