Anzivino, Gattinara

More images
Anzivino is a recently opened family winery. The family itself is an old wine family, but none of the members of family is decisively winemaker. In 1998 they came from Milan and bought an old destillery having been closed for ages. In these suggestive surroundings they run their winery with the assistance of professional winemakers. Arriving to Gattinara it was important to find the best positioned vineyards in order to be able to live up to their own high goals of standard. That they succeeded is proved by several prices given by Touring Club Italiana. The wines produced are made basicly from the local grapes of Colli Novaresi, but they use small amounts of Chardonnay, Sirah and Merlot. Besides the wineproduction Anzivino is running a very pleasant and traditional restaurant and a small agriturismo.
Everything run with the same passion as they put into their wines.

Additional information: Main products: Gattinara DOCG, blended wines of Nebbiolo, Croatina, Bonarda, Vespolina and white Erbaluce.
